Wednesday Night Games:
1) 76ers at Magic (-9.5) for 2 units. I am really high on this Magic team this year. The additions they made in the offseason may not seem all that great, but those acquisitions make this team very deep and talented. They can go 9 deep on their bench and not lose very much talent wise. I see clear mismatches here tonight playing the 76ers. Magic roll to an easy 15 point win.
Magic 120 76ers 106 W for 2 units
2) Detroit (-2.5) at Memphis for 1 unit. The Pistons may be somewhat under the radar this year, but I think the offseason acquisition of Gordon and Villanueva make this team very strong especially against weak teams like Memphis. If this team gels well their starting 5 can compete with any lineup in basketball. They aren’t very deep, but in the matchup tonight they simply don’t need to be. Detroit rolls over Memphis to start the season right.
Detroit 96 Memphis 74 W for 1 unit

The NBA talent is so disproportion especially form the cities that have been hit hard from the economy, funds are low for good talent ; but that is a great opportunity for us to get great lines……
